As the only francophone film festival and one of the few entirely bilingual events in Saskatchewan, Festival CINERGIE is a unique and important cultural attraction in Saskatoon. The 20th Edition is occurring May 1st to 4th 2025 at the Roxy Theatre! It is the perfect occasion to explore the world of local, Canadian francophone cinema and all its international success. All chosen films are shown with English subtitles in order to allow a wider audience to experience francophone cultures. We showcase a wide variety of genres, including dramas, comedies, thrillers, classics, new releases, art films, and films from emerging artists.

Huskie Athletics provides Saskatoon and area with a little bit of everything for all types of sports fans.

The 15 different athletic teams compete in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association that spans from Victoria to Winnipeg. The Canada West is one of four regions (others include the Ontario Universities Association, Atlantic Universities Association and RESQ) in the 57 member U SPORTS. U SPORTS spans from Victoria to St. John's, Nfld.

With 123 Canada West Championships and 29 U SPORTS national championships under its belt, Huskie Athletics is one of the most dominant programs in the country. 

Huskie teams play at premier facilities built with the fan in mind. At Griffiths Stadium in Nutrien Park, one can take in a football game featuring the three-time Vanier Cup champion Huskies or catch the fast-paced action on the soccer pitch. Prefer the fast paced action of hockey? Catch a game at the newly opened Merlis Belsher Place. The Physical Activity Complex (PAC) offers the highest calibre basketball and volleyball the region has to offer.

The Saskatchewan Aviation Museum displays antique aircraft housed within an active aviation hangar setting. Vintage aircraft of WWII and later are displayed among aircraft that were used in Saskatchewan. Exhibits, interactive simulators, and aircraft restorations are all part of the experience people can enjoy when at the museum

The Saskatchewan Rush are the professional Box Lacrosse team as part of the National Lacrosse League. They play an 18 game season all across North America. The season runs from December-April with playoffs to follow in May. The team moved to Saskatchewan from Edmonton in the 2015/2016 season and have won three championships for the province of Saskatchewan.

The Saskatoon Blades are a major junior ice hockey team playing in the Eastern Division of the Western Hockey League, formerly the Western Canadian Hockey League (WCHL). They are based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, playing at the 15,195-seat SaskTel Centre.
